Privacy Policy

The Peabj Privacy Policy governs the collection and usage of data by PeaBJ Inc. Peabj is an app that creates different skill matches among users to ensure growth for both. The app collects personally identifiable information such as your first and last name, date of birth, email address and the school or university a user is attending, when a user voluntarily provide it while registering for an account. Peabj uses this information to deliver the services requested and may inform you of other products or services available from Peabj and its affiliates.

Data Collected

In order to better provide you with products and services offered, Peabj may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:

- First and Last Name

- Date of Birth

- School or University

- Email Address

- Geolocation

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services. These may include: (a) registering for an account; (b) sending us an email message; and/or (c) submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering and purchasing products and services. We will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.

When signing up for Peabj, a user will be asked to share their location to enable us to provide them with geographically relevant skill matches.

App Activity Data

When you use Peabj, we will automatically collect some information about the type of your device and how you interact and engage with our app’s content (e.g.how long are you using the app). Also, Peabj collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested. Our team will use this information to enhance our app and create new features.

Data Sharing

Peabj will not sell, rent, or lease your data to third parties. However, we might need to share it with the service provider to ensure the accurate functionality of the app. Peabj may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Peabj, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Peabj may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Peabj or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Peabj; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Peabj, or the public.

Peabj secures users personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no online data transmission can be 100% guaranteed. As a result, while we strive to protect users’ personal information, we would like our customers to acknowledge that:

- There are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond our control

- Security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between a user and Peabj cannot be guaranteed

Age Restriction

Peabj is intended for university students over the age of 14.

Our team might need to update the privacy policy to timely react to the changes in our application as well as the applicable laws. If we decide to change or update the policy, you will be notified via email about the new version that will be posted here.
